Here are the step-by-step instructions for performing a Flash Transfer using the TC-110/100 controller and Vitals Desktop:


Flash Transfer Process Overview

Flash Transfer is used to synchronize valve and activity data between the Vitals Mobile-TC (on the TC-100) and Vitals Desktop using a USB flash drive.


 What You Need

  • TC-100 controller with Vitals Mobile-TC
  • PC with Vitals Desktop installed
  • USB flash drive

 

 Step-by-Step Instructions

 1. Export Data from TC-100 to USB

  1. On the TC-100, open Vitals Mobile-TC.
  2. Tap the Flash Transfer icon.
  3. Insert the USB flash drive into the TC-100.
  4. Wait for the USB Flash Ready message.
  5. Tap Start.
  6. Wait for the Files Copied message.
  7. Remove the flash drive.

 2. Import Data into Vitals Desktop

  1. Insert the flash drive into your PC.
  2. Open Vitals Desktop.
  3. Click Data Transfer.
  4. In the Connect To dropdown, select Flash Transfer.
  5. Select the correct folder (named by Transfer ID).
  6. Click Start.
  7. Review and Import the updated valve and activity data.

3. Export Updated Database to USB

  1. After import, Vitals Desktop will prompt to export the updated database.
  2. Click Export.
  3. Wait for the Data has been exported message.
  4. Remove the flash drive.

4. Import Updated Database into TC-100

  1. Insert the flash drive back into the TC-100.
  2. Vitals Mobile will automatically detect the update.
  3. Wait for the Data Transfer Finished message.
  4. Tap Exit Vitals.
  5. Restart Vitals Mobile-TC.

 

Notes

  • Always complete the full cycle (export → import → export → import) to ensure both systems are synchronized.
  • If you have multiple controllers, repeat the import/export steps for each one individually.
